Jamie Vogels to run for Corangamite Shire’s Coastal Ward

Supporting agriculture, listening to farmers, improved bushfire planning and helping businesses recover from COVID-19 form the platform on which Jamie (John) Vogels will contest the Corangamite Shire election for the Coastal Ward.

Mr Vogels, 47, was born and raised in the Shire and manages Scotts Dairies with his brother Andrew. He owns property in both the Coastal and South-West Wards and is the son of former Corangamite Mayor and Victorian MP, MLA and MLC John Vogels (AM). Continue reading

Kate Makin to stand for Corangamite Shire

Miller & Mane realises a dream for Caz Miller

Scotts Creek’s Caz Miller has worked in more than dozen hair salons all over Australia, but on July 1 she’ll fulfill a dream when she becomes the proud owner of her own in Timboon.

Ms Miller will open the doors to Miller & Mane Hair Co after purchasing Timboon Hairitage – the same salon she completed her work experience at as a 15 year-old and where she also completed her work placement as a trainee more than 16 years ago. Continue reading
